Energy drink company develops thirst for bitcoin ATMs

DNA Brands Inc., an energy drink company making the transition to blockchain technology provider and incubator, has closed a deal with Bitcoindepot.com to place Bitcoin ATMs across the country

According to a press release, the machines perform bitcoin purchase and sale transactions, and can also receive and dispense cash.

DNA Brands said it is already taking orders to place machines, and said its goal is to put a bitcoin ATM next to every bank ATM.

«We are looking to revolutionize and make bitcoin ATM machines as accessible, and common to use as any other ATM machine,» DNA CEO Adrian McKenzie said in the release. «In an effort to convey complete transparency, we will be looking to update the market on a weekly, or bi-weekly basis.»

The release also said that DNA has identified several blockchain opportunities and promised further details to come.
