Wells Fargo customers can now use a Garmin vívoactive 3 smartwatch for transactions at NFC-enabled payment terminals, according to a press release. The smartwatch launched in stores last fall
«Wells Fargo's more than 21 million mobile banking customers expect to make payments when and where they want, and wearables like vívoactive 3 with Garmin Pay technology help enable their active lifestyles,» Jim Smith, head of virtual channels at Wells Fargo, said in a press release. «We have been a leader in enabling seamless payment and wearable mobile banking experiences, and we're thrilled to add Garmin Pay to our growing list of innovative payment solutions.»
All Garmin Pay transactions made by Wells Fargo customers are monitored through the FI's risk and fraud detection systems, and are protected by Zero Liability, which reimburses customers for any unauthorized card transactions that are reported promptly, according to the press release.
