Nautilus Hyosung America officially launched its new Force retail ATM last week with an exhibit at the ATMIA US Conference in Las Vegas

The new model features a 12.1-inch color display, capacitive touch function keys, a more elegant user interface and three-phased brightness control, according to a press release.

The Force also boasts a 50 percent increase in cash dispense unit capacity over the Halo II, allowing for 6,000 notes.

An optional camera allows the operator to photograph users and store associated transaction records. A second camera mount can accommodate an additional Wi-Fi connected camera for enhanced security.

The addition of a vault light eliminates the need for a flashlight during maintenance or cash loading; four power cord holes and additional bolt-holes allow for versatility and efficiency in installation, the release said.

The cabinet design includes dedicated space for a wireless modem and other devices, which can minimize communication-related service calls caused by the accidental binding of a cable or unplugging of a router when the top of the ATM is opened and closed during for maintenance, the release said.
