Laughlin, Nevada, has a new interactive kiosk that will enable people to scan, retrieve copies and record land documents and property records from a remote location, according to the Laughlin Times
A formal ribbon cutting held Feb. 8 at the Regional Government Center included a demonstration of how the kiosk works.
The kiosk enables an individual to interface with an employee in real time. It can scan documents and instantaneously send them to the county. The kiosk can also take payments during the transaction. The technology can be programmed to provide additional government services like marriage certificates, building permits and licensing.
