TDECU, the largest credit union in Houston, with more than 275,000 members and more than $3.1 billion in assets, has selected Cardtronics to operate and manage its ATM fleet

According to a press release, the agreement represents an expansion of the institution's existing ATM services relationship with Cardtronics.

The company will now operate and manage TDECU's entire fleet of 105 ATMs, which includes 36 machines at member centers, and the remainder at off-premises locations that include retail, education, professional and government office, medical center, and entertainment venues, the release said.

TDECU members also have surcharge-free access to 55,000 ATMs worldwide through the credit union's membership in the Allpoint surcharge-free ATM network. Allpoint is a wholly owned subsidiary of Cardtronics.

«Transitioning the management of our ATM fleet to Cardtronics enables TDECU to maintain great member experiences and exceptional service delivery as we realize operational efficiencies,» Steve Stevens, TDECU senior vice president of retail lending, said in the release. «By partnering with Cardtronics as our enterprise-wide ATM specialist, TDECU can increase its focus on innovative technology and digital services for our members.»
