In June, the Wichita, Kansas, public library will deploy kiosks that print short stories for free, according to KMUW. Cynthia Berner, libraries director, said the kiosks will promote literacy. Wichita is one of four public library districts to offer the kiosks

Each kiosk is loaded with thousands of short stories printed on long rolls of paper. Users can select stories that can be read in one, three or five minutes.

One kiosk will be located in a waiting room of the pediatric clinic at the KU School of Medicine; a second will be placed in a waiting room at Dole VA Medical Center; and the third will be used for pop-up library events.
