The new self-serve kiosks at a McDonald's restaurant in West Seneca, New York, will not kill jobs and, in fact, will add jobs, the restaurant’s owner told WKBW-TV
Sandra Haefner, owner of the Union Road McDonald's, said the kiosks are part of a change that customers want.
The TV station said the McDonald’s organization has claimed that the kiosks will not eliminate jobs, and that the company will have to add employees to maintain the kiosks.
All 67 McDonald's restaurants in western New York will complete the same renovations by the end of 2019.
