Apek, a provider of kiosks and digital signage, recently introduced a Skedway platform for room management that fully integrates with Microsoft Office 365 and Google G-suite
Skedway Mini, an 8-inch, high-resolution display, is installed at the entrance of a room and enables fast check-in via RFID UHF; badge visual recognition (through Neurall Apek AI); or PIN.
Skedway Mini can be also connected to a door lock system or room lights to control access or save energy. The system generates reports, performs instant booking and offers a view of an individual room.
An additional solution, Maxboard, is a 49- or 65-inch display that allows the user to see room availability at a glance. Using a 3D map, the user can get additional room information and directions. An interactive bulletin board allows information-sharing through images, videos, documents and drawings.
