Revel Systems introduces more POS and business management tools for restaurants

Cloud-based POS and business management platform, Revel Systems, announced a pair of products, each suited to needs of specific types of restaurant brands, including:

  • Revel Enterprise: A streamlining business platform designed to help multi-location brands scale and grow.
  • Revel Essentials: A POS and business solution designed for chains with 20 or fewer stores.

«Revel has matured to provide much more than point-of-sale solutions,» CEO Greg Dukat said in a news release. «Our ambition is to deliver a complete platform that enables the rapidly evolving digital commerce initiatives of our customers. This includes having an open ecosystem, key partners, and a broad set of solutions such as Revel Enterprise and Revel Essentials.»

Revel Enterprise is curated for large chain needs and provides an intuitive, secure and flexible iPad-based POS that enables franchisors to comprehensively manage all their locations from one platform including everything from setting up groups of restaurants and centrally controlling menus to generating real-time brand-level reports and analyzing and managing ingredient inventory.

It also includes new professional services capabilities and adapts Revel's API to help customers better manage the increasing number of restaurant digitally based systems.

Revel Essentials takes advantage of Revel's position as among the first cloud-based tablet POS providers to focus this effort on small to mid-sized restaurants. Revels Essentials supports the business operations, customer channels and payments requirements of this sector.
