Bleep UK PLC introduces self-service kiosk

Bleep UK PLC, a U.K. provider of innovative point-of-sale solutions, has introduced a self-service kiosk after several successful trial installations, according to FinExtra.com.

The Bleep SS-821 is designed for customers making transactions in retail, hospitality and events environments. The kiosk has a touchscreen, software and thermal receipt printer and can also have an Ingenico card payment device.

The touchscreen allows customers to navigate menus, select items, confirm orders and make payments. Orders can then be sent to a preparation area, via a kitchen printer or kitchen video display. The SS-821 kiosk also links to a web back office for live price and product updates and real-time sales and stock reporting.
