Lavu, a mobile POS system for restaurants and bars, has certified three Epson receipt printers, according to a press release. Epson's TM-m30-and OmniLink TM-T88V-i receipt printers, as well as the kitchen display system with the TM-U220-i kitchen printer and KDS expansion module, allow Lavu POS to streamline ordering and payment processes for restaurant operations. Lavu previously certified Epson's Mobilink line of mobile wireless receipt printers.

The newly certified Epson receipt printers will provide Lavu customers with additional choice and flexibility to accommodate varying receipt printing requirements. The integration with Epson delivers a hardware and software solution enabling printing of checks and kitchen tickets while helping to streamline front-of-house and back-of-house communication.

Epson's KDS allows Lavu customers to manage kitchen tickets, which are displayed on the KDS. In addition, the KDS expansion module supports touchscreens or monitors paired with bump bars and can be expanded over a local area network to manage more displays. Lavu's integration with Epson's wireless and mobile receipt printers also allow servers to print tableside.
