Gilbarco has certified Transaction Network Services as a managed network service provider for its Gilbarco Passport point-of-sale system that is being rolled out across the U.S.
Retailers that deploy Gilbarco Passport can use TNSLink to connect their in-store terminals to TNS' global payments community, according to a press release. The technology can support multiple in-store applications, improve uptime and increase productivity. TNSLink leverages TNS' global presence and connectivity with more than 400 host payments systems.
«TNSLink is a fully managed end-to-end secure commerce solution with redundant WAN connection options, and no restriction on transaction volumes or site requirements,» TNS Chief Product Officer Bill Versen said in the release. «It is a natural fit with Gilbarco Passport, and together this union will allow retailers to provide a highly secure, reliable and feature-rich point-of-sale service to customers.»
