Fresh n' Lean, which provides ready-to-eat meals, has introduced SmartFridge, a refrigerated kiosk for serving freshly prepared meals to worksite employees, according to a press release.
The units contain a point-of-sale tablet that allows customers to place orders, which include more than a dozen lunch options such as orange glazed cage-free chicken breast with broccoli, roasted asparagus with dill aoli and sustainable salmon, and harissa grass-fed steak with brown rice and Brussel sprouts.
«Every meal in our Smartfridge solution beats unhealthy chain restaurant options, both on price and convenience,» Thomas Asseo, co-CEO of Fresh n' Lean, said in the release. «Providing affordable, accessible, wholesome meal options is one of the best things you can do for your employees.»
Fresh n' Lean has tested the SmartFridge at several businesses and expects to install more than 100 units over the next year, starting in Southern California.
The W Training Facility in Wildomar, California, has had a unit installed for months and is a satisfied customer.
«Our staff was thrilled with the quality and convenience of the Fresh n' Lean SmartFridge and we're excited to see how this will impact office productivity and overall well-being,» said Johnny Louch, owner of W Training Facility.
Fresh n' Lean has five different meal plans including Performance Protein +, Standard Keto, Performance Paleo, Standard Plant-Based and Low Cal, Low Carb Plant-Based. All ingredients are organic, gluten-free and portioned for a well-balanced diet.
