Meridian teams with HP Inc. on countertop kiosk, automated smart locker

Meridian recently introduced two solutions in collaboration with HP Inc., including a touchscreen countertop kiosk and an automated smart locker.

Powered by the HP MP9, the countertop kiosk is a multi-functional self-checkout and endless aisle solution. The self-checkout feature allows shoppers to quickly scan and pay for items in-store, while the endless aisle feature enables shoppers to browse, order and pay for items that are unavailable in stores, online.

The automated smart locker is powered by the HP Engage One all-in-one and serves as a simplified way for customers to pick up orders or drop off returns by simply scanning a unique QR code.

«Meridian's self-service retail kiosks are designed to bridge the gap between physical and virtual stores,» Stephanie Mewherter, director of sales and marketing, said in the press release. «These solutions do exactly that while also simplifying and improving the overall retail experience for shoppers.»
