A self-service pharmacy kiosk called Spotrx in Arizona has gained business during the coronavirus pandemic, according to a fox10phonenix.com report.
Doctors can send prescriptions to Spotrx pharmacies while customers can transfer existing prescriptions to its pharmacies, then pick them up at a pharmacy kiosk or have it delivered free the next day, according to the company website. Sprtrx advises customers when precriptions are ready via text, email, phone or the Spotrx app.
The machine allows the customer to speak to a representative online who verifies the customer's identity. The customer is able to get the prescription in minutes.
Spotrx has seven pharmacies and kiosks are located in the greater Phoenix and Tuscon, Arizona metro areas two planned in Los Angeles County, California.
