This day a year ago the Olympic Games in Sochi started. They brought us memorable minutes of joy and pride in our country

The SAGA Technologies team remembers its small contribution into the preparation to this landmark event

And now the great holiday, the most significant event in the world of winter sport for over 4 years has started. Billions of people all over the world have been waiting for it. Almost everyone, even who is not interested in sports, will not be aside from this incredible event, which is beyond just sports.

And we are proud that the Olympics take place in Russia. This is our Olympics. Hundreds of thousands of our countrymen of different professions have been working for several years, contributing to the preparations of the Sochi Olympics and approaching the world step by step to this landmark event. For the recent years they have built a new city with modern infrastructure: roads, bridges, overpasses, power stations, stadiums and sports tracks, hotels and railroads, airport and sea port.

The SAGA Technologies company also took part in the preparations of the Olympics. Dozens of devices of our make now are successfully working in different parts of the Olympic capital, performing various functions and creating a comfortable environment for the members and guests of the Games. Among these devices there are informational kiosks, skipass terminals, vending machines, payment terminals and more complicated equipment. These devices can be distinguished from others by the bright metal shield bearing the label «SAGA Technologies» in Russian or Latin characters. And of course, we are very grateful to our partners for trust when choosing the supplier of the equipment and integrator of the software and hardware solutions. In fact, they delivered the devices created by SAGA to the Olympics!

All photos were taken on the eve of opening of the Games. Now it is quiet and empty in the Olympic objects, but in a short time the sports holiday will break into emotions of millions of fans and supporters here, in Sochi, and in front of TVs all over the world.
