The swindlers will be prosecuted

July 25, 2018, the decision of the Moscow Arbitration Court in a case No. A40-193822/17-51-1508 became effective in law.

The Court satisfied the stated claim of the SAGA corporation to a number of companies which violated the laws of the Russian Federation by copying the S-200 payment terminal.

The litigants infringed the exclusive rights for the SAGA design solution (Patent No. 103077), advertised and sold the illegal copies of the terminal in the market. The swindlers had caused not only financial harm to the SAGA corporation, but also spoiled the reputation of major clients employing their services.

Please note that the SAGA corporation monitors the market thoroughly and suppresses the abusers’ actions aimed at our copyright infringement as well as actions that pose a threat of such infringement.

Due to the fact that the number of such cases increased more recently, we kindly ask you to be attentive when choosing the suppliers of self-service devices. If you buy low-quality copies of unique products, you risk not only your reputation, but also jeopardize the security of both your business and your customers.
