Caltrain, which provides commuter rail service from San Francisco to San Jose, has upgraded its ticket vending machines to allow customers to purchase a reloadable Adult Clipper card or add cash value to their cards at the San Jose, Sunnyvale, Palo Alto, Redwood City, Millbrae and San Francisco stations, according to the agency's website.

One machine on each platform has been upgraded to dispense Clipper products. More will be upgraded over time.

The touchscreen machines accept Apple and Google Pay. When an Adult card is purchased with value, a cost of $3 for the card is added to the total. The machines also sell Caltrain monthly passes and products from neighboring agencies such as BART, SamTrans and VTA.
