The Nice, France international airport, Aéroports de la Côte d'Azur, has teamed with self-service technology provider Easier to test contactless self-service check-in kiosks, according to a futuretravelexperience.com report.

Passengers traveling with Air France and Air Corsica will operate the Wi-Fi powered kiosks using their smartphones during the 2-month test.

Passengers will scan a QR code on the screen to select flights, check in, check bags and print boarding passes and luggage labels.

If the passenger does not interact with the kiosk for 20 seconds or move too far away without finishing check-in, the transaction cancels.
