Aratek, a Taiwan based security and biometrics supplier, will present its self-service kiosk that can read multiple e-passports and IDs at the 6th Border Management and Identity Conference in Bangkok, Thailand, according to a biometricupdate.com report.
The kiosk offers a touchscreen for registration along with an automatic height-adjusting camera that captures face images. It also features a fingerprint scanner.
The kiosk is designed to provide identity checks at border crossings and integrates with Aratek's liveness detection technology to prevent spoofing.
