Virginia county unveils library kiosk

Jefferson-Madison Regional Library has unveiled a library kiosk in Nelson County, Virginia, according to a report from CBS19 News.

The kiosk was installed at the Valley Green Shopping Center in Nellysford.

The 24-hour kiosk allows users to browse and borrow books from a selection of «high-interest» titles, according to the report.

«JMRL is thrilled to bring Nelson County residents greater access to library materials through this innovative kiosk,» David Plunkett, director at JMRL, said in the report. «As always, the Library is thankful for Nelson County's ongoing support of enhanced library services to meet community needs. In addition, thanks go out to Grow Nelson Library for raising the funds to purchase this device, and to Sarah Holman from Nelson Cable, Inc. for hosting the kiosk and providing network support.»
