Visitors to Covington, Kentucky will soon have an interactive kiosk for finding their way around the city, historical landmarks and needed services.
The outdoor kiosk is a collaborative effort between the city, a regional nonprofit and digital signage company RoveIQ, according to a report at The Lane Report.
The kiosk will be updated with real-time information.
«The primary focus of our software is 100 percent experiential for visitors to and residents of Covington,» P.J. Thelen, CEO at RoveIQ, told the news outlet. «Our No. 1 application is wayfinding, and the emphasis of our other applications is around driving education and activity specific to local businesses that include hotels, restaurants, and bars.»
