Washington State University installs wellness kiosk

The Associated Students of Washington State University recently deployed a wellness kiosk in the Compton Union Building. It dispenses condoms, menstrual pads, pregnancy tests, mini toothbrushes, chapstick, snacks and more, according to a report by The Daily Evergreen.

The university initially planned to deploy the kiosk in 2022 but had to move the date due to logistical issues.

«We anticipate the Wellness Kiosk will be received with enthusiasm by the student community,» Bryce Becker, ASWSU health and safety director, said in the report. «We're excited to see the positive changes it will bring to our campus and how it will support our students in their day-to-day lives.»
