St. Louis-based pizza chain Crushed Red has added a self-service pizza kiosk to St. Louis Lambert International Airport, according to a ksdk.com report.
The kiosk, dubbed «Crushed Red Buy & Fly» offers pizza from a vending machine and salads and folded flats from a grab-and-go cooler.
«It's a truly unique invention that delivers a high-quality result,» Chris LaRocca, Crushed Red founder, said in a statement. «This project has been over a year in the making and I'm just glad it made the trip in one piece.»
The pizzas are baked in three minutes, and the vending machine uses «touchscreen technology and a self-contained oven», according to a press release.
