The U.S. medical kiosks market is growing at a CAGR of 15.31% during 2023-2029, according to a press release from Aritzon Advisory and Intelligence.

The demand for telehealth kiosks is expected to increase, with approximately 76% of hospitals in the U.S. using some form of telehealth to connect with patients. According to the release, the leading medical kiosk market vendors are Fabcon, Meridian, Verifone, Xiphias Software Technologies and Redyref. The competition between these vendors is intense. The projected growth forces vendors to revisit their unique value propositions to achieve a competitive marketplace presence.

The types of kiosks are primarily mobile and payment kiosks. Mobile kiosks are usually reserved for new patient registration and providing special assistance. Mobile kiosks also serve as a backup registration option in high-traffic medical settings like an emergency department.

Payment kiosks streamline the payment process by allowing patients to pay their medical bills without the burden of customer service representatives or third-party billing services.
