Miami bitcoin ATM operator goes bicoastal

Bitstop, a Miami-based Bitcoin ATM company, has expanded to California with nine new bitcoin ATMs in the Golden State. The company has added five more locations in its home state of Florida, as well, a press release said

The California machines will be located in Oakland (3); Los Angeles (2); Compton (1); Gardena (1); Stockton (1); and Inglewood (1).

New Florida locations include Kissimmee, Midtown Miami and Coral Springs. The recent additions bring the total number of Bitcoin ATMs Bitstop currently operates to 55, the release said.

«Since day one, we've been committed to providing a secure and easy way for users to buy digital assets like Bitcoin,» Bitstop co-founder Doug Carrillo said in t he release. «This expansion is our fulfillment of that pledge and while we're excited to see it come to fruition, we're also working on adding many more locations. The demand for Bitcoin is growing rapidly and adding more ATMs will help meet that demand.»
