Bremer Bank, ARCA partner on teller cash recycler rollout

Bremer Bank, a regional financial services provider based in St. Paul, Minnesota, has teamed up with ARCA, a provider of cash automation solutions, on an array of projects aimed at solving cash management challenges across the bank's branch network

The bank is replacing older cash dispenser technology with the ARCA family of CM18 teller cash recyclers, according to a press release.

«Originally, we were using cash dispenser technology and decided a few years back to move toward recycler technology. We met with the [ARCA] team back in 2011,» Lynn Petersen, Bremer Bank enterprise client service manager, said in the release. «We liked a lot of the ARCA technology because when we looked at the machine, it had a smaller footprint, it fit under the teller counter, and we didn't have to pull out the drawers or even open the vault.»

Cash recyclers are designed to deliver front line and back office benefits, both of which have been achieved at Bremer Bank, ARCA said in the release.

«We appreciate the efficiency gained from our ability to reduce cash buys and sells from the vault,» Petersen said. «We are happy with the product.»
