OptConnect partners with Systech to provide single source solution

OptConnect, a kiosk and ATM connectivity provider, has partnered with Systech Corp., a provider of «internet of things» hardware and software, to combine OptConnect's expertise in fully managed wireless solutions with Systech's expertise in wireless routers and cellular gateways, according to a press release

The partnership will allow Systech to extend managed wireless connectivity to its current hardware-only customers. Systech's hardware has been incorporated into OptConnect's fully managed solution since 2009.

«We are excited to work more closely together while also providing a managed wireless solution for existing Systech customers,» Chris Baird, president of OptConnect, said in the press release. «This official partnership will allow for greater integration between our companies.»

The partnership provides a single-source solution for Systech's customers that includes hardware, management software, data and customer support based in the U.S. Customers will be able to simply plug and play for instant internet connectivity, and they can choose a traditional rental option or purchase a device upfront.

«This partnership gives our customers greater flexibility to continue to purchase the best hardware technology in the market and pair it with industry-leading connectivity and support,» said Robert Lutz, vice president of marketing and business development at Systech.
