Iris-based authentication provider EyeLock has achieved Lenel Factory Certification and is part of the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance program.

According to a press release, EyeLock technology now interfaces with the Lenel OnGuard access control system, a platform used by Fortune 500 companies, universities and other large organizations. Lenel certification ensures network integration success.

«Eyelock has completed required factory testing at Lenel to validate the functionality of its interface to OnGuard,» John Marchioli of Lenel OAAP product management said in the release. «We look forward to their continued involvement in the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program.»

EyeLock technology offers convenience and security with biometric accuracy, the release said. The proprietary authentication technology assesses more than 240 unique iris characteristics.

«We are pleased to announce the completion of our integration with Lenel OnGuard,» EyeLock CEO Jeff Carter said in the release. «OnGuard delivers on all fronts – as a more unified, biometric-capable, cybersecure, mobile- and cloud-based solution – and provides our customers with the advantages they demand from an enterprise security solution.»
