Andamiro debuts self-service redemption kiosk for arcade industry

Andamiro USA Corp has launched a self-service redemption kiosk for the game room and arcade venue that validates and secures various redemption items, including character coins, token, chips and collectible cards.

The kiosk security system prevents theft and counterfeiting and reduces labor costs, according to a press release.

On the consumer side the kiosk lets users skip the line at traditional redemption counters to exchange items for tickets.

It features a dual 23-inch screen with the upper monitor displaying inserted items and transaction progress. The lower screen is where consumers conduct touch-screen activity, according to the release.

For arcade operations using paper tickets it also offers two ticket dispensers.

The kiosk, which weighs 220 pounds, can be activated to accept and validate RFID and barcoded cards.
