The Marina, California police department added a computer kiosk to its lobby to allow people to report crimes and pay parking fines, according to a Monterey Herald report. People will also be able to use the kiosk to dispute parking citations and create payment plans.

The kiosk was presented by Mayor Bruce Delgado and Police Chief Tina Nieto.

The department's records supervisor got the idea for a self-serve kiosk after seeing one in a lobby at California State University Monterey Bay.
