Five vending machines are stocked with local art in Chicago, Illinois. Good Things Vending entrepreneur Steph Krim owns five full-sized vending machines stocked with items such as pins, patches, stickers, drink koozies, notebooks, small format paintings and other small nostalgia items. Each machine's stock is customized to fit the Chicago neighborhood in which it is placed, according to an ABC 7 report.

Wanting to give local artisans an accessible platform, Krim stocks the machines with consignment items priced at $20 and under.

«The goal is to create a space where the artist can profit from the work that they make, get exposure to a bunch of different kinds of audiences, and fit into a space that doesn't have the same confines as traditional retail,» Krim told the news outlet.

Good Things Vending began in 2018 and has machines at the Chicago Cultural Center, Kimball Arts Center, Way Out Bar, Kaiser Tiger Restaurant and Off Color Brewing's Mousetrap Tap Room.
