Olea Kiosks, a provider of self-service kiosk solutions, has debuted the Tampa Driver Check-In Kiosk, designed to revolutionize driver arrival and departure processes in the logistics industry.

The kiosk tackles inefficiencies associated with manual check-in, reducing wait times and administrative burdens. It automates data entry by scanning truck driver's licenses and cargo documents, ensuring secure and real-time data capture, according to a press release.

«This robust yet simple design provides tremendous value,» Frank Olea, CEO, said in the release. He noted the system's ability to deter unauthorized access and optimize yard space while enhancing driver safety, in the release.

The Tampa Driver Check-In Kiosk has additional features including:

  • Automated identity verification and document validation.
  • Receipt printing for check-in confirmation.
  • Optional features: intercoms, webcams, barcode scanners, RFID readers, and gate access controls.

The first deployment is expected by the end of June.
