The city of Little Elm, Texas has installed a 24-hour library kiosk that dispenses books and DVDs, according to a Kiowa County Press report.
Since there is only one main library in the town, the library's management aims to improve access to books through these kiosks.
«The kiosk itself is like a vending machine,» Diana Slavinsky, Little Elm Library's managing director of library services, told the news outlet. «There are 340 titles on display, and you can use your library card to check out materials from there. It…rotates around like a carousel. It displays everything nicely, so it's a fun kiosk.»
The Little Elm kiosk is available seven days a week to anyone with a library card.
