St. Gregory the Great elementary school in Williamsville, New York is now home to an Inchy Bookworm Vending Machine, according to a WGRZ report.
Students earn tokens by demonstrating good behavior and then can use the tokens at the vending machine to select a book of their choice.
«It's a great tool to have for positive behavior…now we can give them something they're clearly looking forward to,» School Principal Molly White told the news outlet. «When we unveiled it to our students they were very excited.»
The book vending machine was introduced as part of the newly remodeled elementary school library, as part of a $60,000 fundraiser to invest in student learning.
