ecoATM is bringing fully autonomous kiosks that allow customers to sell and recycle their old mobile devices to Aaron's, Price Rite Marketplace, Northeast Grocery Inc., parent company of Tops Friendly Market, and Price Chopper/Market 32, according to a press release.
These partnerships aim to add value to the retailers' existing shoppers as well as attract new shoppers by enabling them to recycle and earn cash for their unused mobile devices in-store.
«We're excited to expand our network and help our new retailers provide shoppers with a turnkey, value-add experience that allows them to convert old phones into dollars that can be spent at the store,» Neil Fried, senior VP of corporate development at ecoATM Gazelle.
«Aaron's, Price Rite and Northeast Grocery understand the revenue opportunity our kiosks present – 70% of cash payouts from the kiosks are spent in the store where they are located.»
