James Hall & Co introduces 24-hour milk, milkshake vending machine

James Hall & Co, a Spar wholesaler, has unveiled a 24-hour outdoor vending machine offering fresh milk and milkshakes at its company-owned Spar Milnthorpe forecourt in the U.K., according to a Forecourt Trader report.

The Ann Forshaw's Milk Shed branded unit, located on the Shell site on the A6, is the first of its kind at one of the wholesaler's forecourts.

The machine dispenses pasteurized and non-homogenized milk from the Alston Dairy, owned by James Hall, in 500ml and 1-liter servings. Additionally, it offers a variety of naturally flavored milkshakes, including chocolate, strawberry, banana, vanilla, salted caramel and a limited-edition white chocolate for the holiday season.

Fiona Drummond, company stores director at James Hall, expressed enthusiasm for the concept, telling the news outlet, «It is such a simple but effective concept. Our high-quality fresh milk is very competitively priced, and the milkshakes are a delicious treat suitable for all ages.»
